WAYS TO GIVE

Ways to Give

 

Gifts to the Foundation can be tailored to your own financial position and will usually have tax advantages. The Foundation is grateful for gifts of any amount. The Foundation’s legal counsel is available to work with prospective donors.

 

GIVING METHODS

  • Outright Gifts of Monies and Securities (Bequests)
  • Life Insurance (Transfer of Ownership or Beneficiary)
  • Real Estate or Other Appreciated Property
  • Memorial Gifts
  • Equipment, Materials, Services (Loan or Donation)

Examples of Gifts

 

Gifts to the Foundation may take several forms and may be earmarked as follows:

 

  • For specific facilities or capital improvements
  • For specific programs or activities
  • For unrestricted use and/or
  • As an endowment fund

Contributions of equipment, services, and materials are also welcomed. To provide long-term support, by using interest only, contributions can be made to the Foundation’s Endowment Fund.

 

Examples Contributions to the

Ashland Park System:

 

  • The Oregon Shakespeare Festival annually donates proceeds, which are held in trust, of one outdoor performance.
  • George Brinkworth donated his estate, which included property and funds for improvements to neighborhood parks as well as to Lithia Park.
  • The Daniel Meyer Family donated funds to build an outdoor swimming pool at Hunter Park.
