Ashland Parks Foundation
The Organization
The Ashland Parks Foundation was established in 1995 under the laws of the State of Oregon as a nonprofit corporation and is recognized by the U.S. Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt benefit foundation. It is administered by a five-member board of Ashland residents.
The Purpose
The purpose of the Ashland Parks Foundation is to enhance Ashland’s quality of life by financially supporting its parks system and other non-profit recreational groups and projects.
Throughout Ashland’s history, the community has supported the park system in various ways. The Foundation facilitates community support by soliciting and managing tax-deductible contributions from individuals, businesses and community organizations. These contributions supplement and improve existing park services in our community.
